The Wine Route and Santiago

Mostly distributed around the central zone of the country, the Chilean vineyards have gained world-wide fame and prestige thanks to the quality of the wines and the variety of stocks. Through the wine country route it is possible to visit vineyards such as Concha y Toro, vineyard Errázuriz, Cousiño Macul and vineyard Undurraga, to mention a few.
The exceptional climate and terrain of the valleys of Santiago,
Aconcagua and Cachapoal, allow for a large quantity of vineyards
of different sizes that produce prestigious wines of exportation
quality.
By visiting the vineyards such as those mentioned, Concha y Toro in Pirque, or the Errazuriz vineyard nearby the Andes, one can see the production process of the wine, learn about the different types of stocks, and taste quality wines. Furthermore, the wine country route is in the heart of the picturesque landscapes of central Chile.
