Portillo is known as a ski center of great tradition and history. With a hotel located in the mountains without cities in the surroundings, many visitors feel as if they are truley isolated in the tranquility of nature. Less people means less skiiers and less snowboarders on the slopes, less time spent waiting for lifts and powdery snow maintained for a longer period. Nobody gets up early, the meals are a social event, and dinner is served late. The lifestyle is relaxed and open to making new friends. Portillo has a capacity for 500 visitors, and there are 450 employees available, therefore you can expect personalized attention. Portillo is not only for skiing, socializing and relaxing, but is also useful for renewing and rejuvenating the mind and spirit in a natural harmonious environment. Portillo has been converted over the course of 50 years of history into one the centers of greater hierarchy and tradition; known worldwide for it’s magical landscapes and spectacular snow.

The Program Includes

• 7 night stay in the Portillo Hotel.
• 7 days of free acces to the cable ferry.
• 4 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner).
• Free access to the pool, weight room, gym, aerobic and yoga classes.
• Access to the movie theater, game room.
• Activities for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Nursery school for kids 3 to 7 years old.
• Free access to the discoteque, piano bar, ski and boot guarding station.

Program does NOT include

• Transfers.
• Insurances.
• Cot room between 0 and 2 years. Available at an additional charge.
• Any service that is NOT included in the program.

Notes

• Policies exist regarding lack of snow and closing of special roads.
• If the check out is made before 10:00 AM, Portillo will reward you with a lift pass for the day.
• Program applies from Saturday to Saturday.

• Check In time is at 2:00 pm. / Check Out is at 11:00 am.

Consists of 2 rooms, for a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 6. At least 2 people must pay an adult rate.

Portillo Promotions

During the following weeks of the 2008 season, each mother and/or father can bring one child between the ages of 4 and (including) 12 years to ski, eat, and stay at Portillo for free:

Conditions

• Offer only applies for parents with their children.
• Promotion only applies for a máximum of 2 children per family (children under 4 years included).
• Children´s accommodations are in the same room or in the same type of room as that chosen and paid for by the parents according to the list of prices.
• For those coming as one father or mother along with their son or daughter, the adult must pay the single rate and the child will be allowed free of charge.
• Birth certificates showing the age of the children will be requested upon check in.
• Promotion is valid for all types of rooms except the Suite and Inca.
• One seven night Ski Week is required to get this promotion.

Season 2008

• Low Season
  From June the 21th until 28rd. And from September 06th to October 04th.
   
• Middle Season
  From June 28rd to July 12th. And from August 02th to September 06th.
   
• High Season
  From July 12th to August 02th.

Cancellation Policies

All cancellations have to be sent by fax or email. Once the reservation has been confirmed by Gotolatin, the following charges will apply for cancellations made by the passenger, according to the program departure date:

• 60 working days before the beginning of the program:
  Charge of the 10% of the total reservation per passenger (Adult or child)
• Between 60 and 30 working days before beginning of the program:
50% of total program value per passenger.

• Less than 30 days before beginning of the program: No refunds apply.
• There are no refunds for portions of the program not used, hotel accommodations, etc.
• We recommend considering travel insurance for any reason.
