Marble Cathedral
The "Marmol" or Marble Cathedral is an extraordinary rock
formation with a fantastic labyrinth of caves carved naturally by
thousands of years of wave erosion from General Carrera Lake.
Terra Luna Lodge
During the free days, Terra Luna offers various activities and excursions.
Among them, are numerous excursions (Baker River, Lakes, fossils,
glaciers, etc) and diverse activities to choose from like mountain
biking, horseback riding, and fishing to name a few. For those who
wish to enjoy a unique experience, we especially recommend flying
over the northern ice country and Mount San Valentin (4057 meters
or13,306 ft) to San Rafael Lagoon (optional – Not included
in the value). This option is currently the most economic way to
visit this National Park. This light aircraft can come to get you
in the proximities of Terra Luna.
Transfer to Chile Chico
We get to Chile Chico by following an extraordinary route that practically
hangs from the mountainside and descends onto the southern bank
of the Lake.
General Carrera Lake
The lake is one of most touristy and beautiful areas. It is the
second largest lake in South America and is shared with Argentina
(where it is known as "Buenos Aires"). Thanks to the presence
of the Campo de Hielo Norte (Northern Ice Country), this region
enjoys a surprisingly warm and sunny microclimate.

Available excursions

Trekking through the Maqui River Waterfalls
Trekking with a companion from Terra Luna to the beautiful falls
of the Maqui River. Return in vehicle. The excursion lasts approximately
3 hours and is suitable for anyone.
Trekking through the Maqui River Waterfalls
and Carabinero Island
Trekking with a companion departing from Terra Luna to the beautiful
falls of Maqui River. Return trip by boat making a stop at Carabinero
Island to enjoy the spectacular view. A picnic on the island is
included. The excursion lasts approximately 4 hours.
Trekking to the Fuentes Glacier
Day excursion including trekking with a companion to the Fuentes
Glacier. Transfer by vehicle and a 40-minute boat ride (round trip).
The program involves some physical strength required for a short
but steady amount of time. A picnic lunch is included. The program
last approximately 6 hours, with 3 hours of trekking.
Horseback riding and trekking to the fossils
This is a full day program (approximately 7 hours) to the Veranada
Fossils. Transfer by vehicle and horseback riding with a companion.
Includes a picnic lunch.
Rafting through Baker River
Approximately two hours of rafting through Baker River. Includes
round trip transportation by vehicle and is suitable for anyone.
Tamango Reserve
Full day excursion (approximately 10 hours) to Puerto Bertrand,
Waterfall of Baker River, Cochrane and Tamango Reserve, to have
the option of visiting the Huemules. Vehicle transfer and navigation
through Cochrane Lake. Entrance to the National Park and lunch is
included. Program is suitable for anyone.
Excursion to Exploradores Valley and Marble
Cathedral
Full day excursion (lasts approximately 10 hours), to Puerto Tranquilo,
Exploradores Valley and the Marble Cathedral, among others. Transfer
on vehicle and boat ride to the Marble Cathedral, weather permitting.
Lunch is included and the program is suitable for anyone.
