The Grande Island of Tierra del Fuego (Land of Fire) is located in the South end of America, continent of which it is separated from by the Strait of Magallanes.
It is delimited to the south by the Beagle Channel, to the east by the Atlantic Ocean and the west by the Pacific Ocean. This great island is shared by Chile and the Argentina, to the later corresponds respectively the western and Eastern part to them. The capital of the Chilean sector of the island is Port Williams and the capital of the Argentine part is the city of Ushuaia.
