Coñaripe Hot Springs is a great choice for a relaxing and
pleasant family vacation in comfortable facilities that are surrounded
by nature's beauty. Enjoy a pleasant bath in the warm thermal waters
as you gaze upon the panorama of the Villarrica and Mocho Choshuenco
volcanoes.
Coñaripe Hot Springs are located approx. 87 miles (140 km)
south of Temuco and 38 miles (60 km) south of Villarrica, in the
Ninth Region of Chile. You can get there by way of the Coñaripe-Liquiñe
road. The nearest town is Coñaripe, about 9 miles (15 km)
from the resort.
The facilities are modern and cater to the needs of our guests.
The buildings were constructed with native wood so as to harmonize
with the landscape and their surroundings.
The resort features thermal pools, a sheltered outdoor pool, and
hydromassage baths. You also have the opportunity to enjoy therapeutic
massages, steam and mud baths
This hot springs resort is constantly renewing its waters so that
the temperature is always ideal for bathing, especially at night.
The water is pure, untreated, and in no way artificially heated.
There are also natural pools around the area where one can take
a bath surrounded solely by nature.
These hot waters boast temperatures between 102°F and 104°F
(39°C and 40°C), and are sulfated and chloridated, with
traces of sodium, potassium, calcium, boron, magnesium, and iron,
among other minerals. They temporarily relieve the discomfort that
results from skin conditions, rheumatism, sciatica, back pains,
stress, and illnesses of the nervous system. However, the hot springs
are not recommended for those persons with psychiatric illnesses,
rheumatic fever, and acute neurological problems.
Besides indulging in the hot springs activities, visitors can participate
in excursions such as hikes through nature, exploring flora and
fauna, taking photos, horseback riding or mountain biking You can
also visit a fish-breeding farm within the resort and the Pellaifa
Lake nearby boasts a sunken forest that's worth your while to visit.
It's easy to get there just by walking.
Another place of interest is the town of Coñaripe, an establishment
located next to the border with Calafquén Lake. This is your
typical vacation spot with volcanic sand beaches and beautiful landscapes.
Sun bathe, go swimming, enjoy!
