RECOMMENDATIONS
Help us protect the
natural resources here by considering the following recommendations:
- The most appropriate periods for
visitors are in the winter, between the months of June and October
and in the summer between November and March.
- We recommend you make reservations
for cabins before your arrival, since demand can be high.
- When you go trekking, it is important
to inform the rangers in your sector of your departure.
- Mountaineers who plan to scale
the mountains and hills of the park have to register their plans
with the Administración de la Unidad (Park Administration),
which is found in the Aguas Calientes sector.
- We recommend that visitors bring
clothes suitable for the rain in the summer. The rest of the
year requires warmer clothing adequate for rain and snow conditions
according to the plans of the visitor.
- During your visit, avoid marking
trees, rocks or other parts of the landscape. Try not to alter
the peace of the landscape by making unnecessary noise, and
avoid contaminating by taking all your trash and waste with
you.
